As of last Saturday, the United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union. After years of debating and delays, Friday at midnight CET (11pm GMT) the big moment arrived: the UK was not a member of the European Union anymore.
On 1 February an 11-month period started, in which the UK and the EU will negotiate trade treaties. This means that for now, nothing will change and you should be able to conduct your business in, from and to the UK as usual. Depending on the outcome of the negotiations you may have to change your business structure or your way of doing business in Europe. Based on the previous results of such negotiations, we do have our fears. We feel it important that you still keep prepared for changes when needed.
